AIRPLANE – FRONT FUSELAGE SPAR – INSPECTION
Applicability: Airplanes ZLIN Z 226 MS produced by Moravan – Aeroplanes Inc.
(formerly Moravan n.p.) serial numbers S/N 750, 804 and 839, certificated in
normal category.
Reason:
Accomplishing
the non-standard modification of front fuselage spar within the framework of
rebuilding the Z 126 aircraft to Z 226 MS. Modification was not performed by
manufacturer. Brackets for attachment of the wing flap lever were welded to the
heat treated upper flange of the front fuselage spar. This modification can
lead to change of mechanical quality of the spar. This is the reason for
accomplishing of checks described by airplane manufacturer.
Effective date: Upon
receipt.
Compliance : Required as indicated in Mandatory Bulletin No.: Z 126, Z 226/38a dated
January 8, 2002, which becomes herewith part of this AD and may be obtained
from: Moravan – Aeroplanes Inc., ZLIN Service, 765 81 Otrokovice, Czech
Republic.
Remarks:. The
compliance of this AD must be recorded in Aircraft Logbook, where applicable
the requirements of this AD must be integrated into Aircraft Technical
