APPLIANCE - BABIES BASSINETS - INSTALATION

 

Applicability: INNOVINT AIRCRAFT INTERIORS baby bassinets model basic PNR: 7250-XXA, 7250-XXB, 7253-XXB, all serial numbers.

 

These baby bassinets can be installed, but not limited to, AIRBUS, BOEING, DOUGLAS and FOKKER aircraft.

 

Effective date: October 04, 2001

 

Compliance: Required as indicated in DGAC AD 2001-351(B).

 

Remarks: The compliance of this AD must be recorded in Aircraft Logbook, where applicable the requirements of this AD must be integrated into Aircraft Technical Documentation. Equipment: babies bassinets

 

PIP pins protection flap assy installation and installation of a set screw (ATA 25)

 

1. APPLICABILITY:

 

INNOVINT AIRCRAFT INTERIORS baby bassinets model basic PNR: 7250-XXA, 7250-XXB, 7253-XXB, all serial numbers.

 

These baby bassinets can be installed, but not limited to, AIRBUS, BOEING, DOUGLAS and FOKKER aircraft.

 

2. REASONS:

 

Due to unprotected PIP-pin, Innovint baby bassinets can be unintentionally released by passengers or attendants and fall to the cabin floor. This situation, if left uncorrected, can lead to serious injury to baby during the fall.

 

3. COMPLIANCE:

 

Before December 31, 2002, to prevent the PIP-pin against inadvertent release, modify pin installation as per Service Bulletin INNOVINT AIRCRAFT INTERIOR 7250-25-002 and Service Bulletin INNOVINT AIRCRAFT INTERIOR 7250-25-003.
