APPLIANCE - PORTABLE FIRE-EXTINGUISHER - EXCLUSION FROM OPERATION
Applicability: Model T1-FM 100 portable fire-extinguisher (produced by Sdružení hasičů Čech, Moravy a Slezska) for which Type Approval No.: S 106-94 (Moravan a.s.) has been issued.
Reason: Since the producer of portable fire-extinguisher does not accomplish all conditions for aeronautical production, the using of this appliance is prohibited and Type Approval's validity for newly made appliances is limited to February 29, 2000. Portable fire-extinguishers which are installed on airplanes in flight operation must be removed from the airplanes not later than in next pressure check of this fire-extinguisher.
Effective date: February 24, 2000.
Compliance : Remove portable fire-extinguisher T1-FM 100 from the airplanes not later than in next pressure check of this fire-extinguisher.
Remarks: The compliance of this AD must be recorded in Aircraft Logbook, where applicable the requirements of this AD must be integrated into Aircraft Technical Documentation.
