SUBJECT: Fuselage - Main Frame - Modifying Insulation to Prevent Interference with Aileron Control Mechanism

BACKGROUND: It has been found, that if insulation pads (7225245-249/-250) comes loose from lower side of fuselage at wing aft area, it might interfere with the aileron control cable segment, and thereby cause unacceptably increased control forces.

REFERENCE DOCUMENTS: Saab Aircraft AB Mandatory Service Bulletin SAAB 340-53-061 dated 21 April 1999.

ACTIONS: Perform actions described in Saab Aircraft AB Mandatory Service Bulletin SAAB 340-53-061 dated 21 April 1999 or later revision

COMPLIANCE TIME: To be performed within six (6) months after release of this SAD
