AIRCRAFT - FUEL SYSTEM - CHECK
Applicability:
Socata TB9, TB10, TB20, TB21 airplanes S/A 1 to 822, 850 to 887, 889 to 947, powered vith 14V, and which engine control panel is at amendment D.Reason:Mistaken function of fuel gages when they are powered with less than 13V.
Effective date:April 22, 1999
Compliance : Required as indicated in DGAC AD 1999-062(A).

Fuel system
This Airworthiness Directive concerns TB9, TB1O, TB2O and TB21 airplanes S/N 1 to 822, 850 to 887,
889 to 947, powered with 14V, and which engine control panel is at amendment D.
ln order to alert the pilot on the fact that the fuel gages' indicate on overestimated fuel quantity when they
are powered with less than 13 volts, the following measures are made mandatory before the next flight
from the effective date of this Airworthiness Directive :
A - Amend the Flight Manual according to SOCATA SB No.10-099-28 ed. February 1999.
B - Display a placard on the instrument panel according to SOCATA SB No.10-099-28 ed. February
1999.
Record the application of this Airworthiness Directive in the airplane Log Book.
